Snowshoe or ski Little Traverse Conservancy lands

Greenwood Winter Outing
Saturday, January 14 10 am to noon
Visit one of the largest private properties in our service area now protected with a conservation easement. Greenwood Sanctuary is a haven for elk, porcupine, and a multitude of other wildlife. Landowner George Jury opens his gates and invites us in to explore. Trails will be groomed for skiing and snowshoeing, if snow permits. Please bring your own skis or snowshoes.

Ski or Snowshoe the Birge Preserve
Saturday, January 14 10 am to noon
The Birge Preserve is now easier to visit in the winter thanks to a new parking area funded, in part, by the Les Cheneaux Community Foundation. Join LTC staff on a snowshoe or ski of the 2 miles of packed trail within this 435-acre preserve.
