Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation

Getting Kids Outdoors in Emmet County received start-up funding from PHSCAF through its grantmaking process. We are grateful for their support – without it GKO would be yet another “great idea” instead of a reality.

PHSACF is a public charity and nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving and enriching life for everyone in Emmet County. We are here to help our donors make a positive impact on their community. Wherever you go in Emmet County, you’ll find the community foundation at work. For the people we care about. For the community we love.

Funding for marketing materials and collaborative events was also given to GKO through a grant making process by the Petoskey Rotary Club Charities, Inc. and the Harbor Springs Area United Fund. Without this support, GKO would not be able to reach the kids and families of Emmet County with the message that regular, outdoor play is necessary for healthy childhood development.
